The Seoul Museum of Art (서울시립미술관), founded in 1928, is located in the former Supreme Court building, to which it moved in 2002, near both Seoul City Hall and Deoksugung. The Museum is often home to high-profile exhibitions; in recent years it has hosted large exhibitions of works by Picasso and Magritte. Permanent works include a video installation by Paik Nam-june.
