Sharing House, sometimes called House of Sharing (나눔의집), is a "safe house" dormitory for former comfort women, and also a museum which has documented their history by conducting recorded interviews with those few living survivors who are open about their experiences. Tours are conducted monthly in Korean, Japanese, and English; volunteers who speak any of those languages are always needed.
The house was founded by the House of Sharing Establishment Comittee in June, 1992. The original location was in Mapo-gu in Seoul. After several moves, it came to its present location in a 300-[[pyeong] complex in Gwangju.
