Shingi Station (신기역, 新基驛, new.base.station) is a station on line 1 of the Daegu subway. It is next to Yulha and Banyawol Station.

This area was originally connected to one of the main roads to Hanyang (the former capital city of the Joseon Dynasty, later renamed to Seoul) so, many people gathered here and farms centered around the area. As a result, a new village was formed and it became to be called 'Shingi'.
