Kimyujeong Station

Kimyujeong Station is said to be the only railroad station in Korea named after a person. That person is the novelist and short story writer Kim Yu-jeong. It was formerly known as Shinnam Station (신남역). This station is a point of access to the Kim Yu-jeong Literature Village.

It is a railway station in Gangwon-do. To the west is Gangchon Station. Here the line turns north and the next station is Namchuncheon Station.

Only some of the trains that pass by here stop here:

  • From Namchuncheon, trains to Kimyujeong leave at: 5:20, 7:50, 9:30, 11:10, 12:50, 16:10, 17:50, 19:30, and 21:10.
  • From Cheongnyangni trains to Kimyujeong leave at: 6:10, 7:02, 9:30, 10:20, 12:02, 15:20, 17:02, 18:40, and 19:30.
