Tea

Tea (차, 茶) is somewhat popular in Korea. The word for tea, cha, is pronounced the same in Chinese and Japanese as well. There is also a bound form that is pronounced "da" and means "tea." It can be seen in words like 다방 (tea shop), 다례 (tea ceremony), 다실 (tea shop). Cha is also a homonym for "car", however, and care should be taken not to confuse 자 (well, then, okay now; also sleep and ruler for measuring) which may sound similar.
