Technomart (테크노마트) is the name of a large electronics shopping mall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. There are floors devoted to products including digital cameras, computers, phones, home entertainment, and appliances. The upper floors contain a food court and a CGV movie theatre.

Technomart has 10 floors plus two basement floors.

• Basement - clothing, bath and beauty products, small bookstore.
• First floor - clothing, watches, sporting goods, glasses.
• Second floor - cameras, home and kitchen appliances.
• Third floor - cameras, home and kitchen appliances, musical instruments.
• Fourth floor - stereo equipment, projectors, lamps, tools.
• Fifth floor - televisions, MP3 players, electronic dictionaries, space heaters, lamps, furniture.
• Sixth floor - MP3 players, telephones, cell phones, home lighting.
• Seventh floor - computers, computer equipment, computer and console video games, PDAs.
• Eighth floor - computers, computer equipment, computer and console video games, laptop carrying cases, CDs, DVDs.

Haggling and bargaining are often required at electronics markets to get the best price. As there are scores of vendors selling the same product, it is wise to shop around first before committing to a purchase. If you find a merchant who will not help you, a foreigner, simply move on and visit the next one. Also remember that bargaining can be more than just finding the lowest price. Consider add-ons---such as memory cards, carrying cases, free DVDs or CDs, headphones, software upgrades---when making a purchase.
