Teheran-ro (테헤란로) is a major road located in Gangnam, Seoul, extending 4 kilometres from Yeoksam to Jamsil. It is 50 metres wide. The road was originally called Samneung-ro (삼릉로) but was changed to Teheran-ro June 17, 1977 following the visit of the mayor of Tehran, Iran, and the joining of the two cities as sister cities.
