Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners can be hard to come by for foreigners in Korea, as well as finding turkeys, for that matter.

However, there are some places that often show up on radar screens of foreigners looking to have a turkey dinner and holiday festivities.

• At the Grand Hyatt Hotel, The Paris Grill usually has holiday turkey dinners, every year. 02-799-8161
• The Buffet Restaurant at Grand Hilton Seoul has thanksgiving and christmas turkey buffets, every year. 02-2287-8271
• Westin Chosun regularly has thanksgiving and christmas turkey dinners. 02-317-0033.
• JW Marriott Seoul usually has 4 course thanksgiving turkey dinners. 02-6282-6113.

• Nashville has discontinued this, but it might be worth checking if they will start again when the holiday season comes around.
• Rocky Mountain Tavern has had christmas dinner in the past.
• Some regional KOTESOL chapters regularly have holiday dinners for members.
• SaRang Community Church usually organizes turkey dinners during the holidays. Reservation required.
• Seaman's Club in Busan has had thanksgiving dinners in the past.
• Canadian Chamber of Commerce organizes Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners every year.
• ANZA organizes a christmas lunch every year.
• Hotel Inter-Burgo in Daegu serves Christmas dinner.

• The Deli in the Grand Hyatt Hotel usually sells pre-cooked turkeys every holiday season, including other appetizers. 02-799-8167
• Grand Intercontinental Hotel has sold pre-cooked turkeys in the basement, in the past.
• Hannam Supermarket
• Haddon House
• Red Door sometimes has turkeys for sale during holiday season.
• John Cook sells pre-cooked turkeys.
• Costco

Note: While Hannam and Haddon House are usually pretty consistent with stock, Costco can be hit/miss, so you might be best to call ahead to confirm if they have any in stock or when a shipment is expected to come in.

One alternative to finding a turkey dinner is Korean-style duck stuffed with rice, nuts, and beans. Duck meat is similar to turkey, and it is cooked and stuffed in a manner reminiscent of how Thanksgiving turkey is prepared. Duck restaurants can be found in several places in Korea and operate throughout the year.
