Two things that I should mention about borrowing content from Wikipedia.
- To comply with copyright usage, we need to have reference and link going back to the original Wikipedia article. When you create a Galbijim article that uses some or all of a Wikipedia article, please use the following template.
|| This page contains content from a Wikipedia article located here.
and make sure that you link to the corresponding article. The disclaimer will need to be placed at the bottom of the new article.
- Make sure that you 'wikify' the article according to Galbijim, and not according to Wikipedia. ie., A wikipedia article is going to have text links to everything such as a generic article on what the word 'province' means, or everything that happened in the world in 1896. As Galbijim is only Korean-centric, you'll need to remove the text links for everything in the wikipedia article that is not relevant to Korea. Likewise, you may need to add some text links for words that will have some article relevance for Korea.--Galbijim 05:51, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
'pedia articles updated
I've re-wikified the articles I imported, and included the disclaimer template with the appropriate urls. It occurs to me there's probably a priorities list somewhere. I've been using the Special:wantedpages for leads on what to do next, but there's probably pages that already exist that need help, or links that need to be made among articles, or categories added or something. Is there such a list online I could check? Atkinson 07:17, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
A priorities list is a great idea and I'll put one up over the weekend. However, what you're doing now with adding wikipedia content on cities and provinces is pretty vital stuff.--Galbijim 08:37, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
Here's the Priorities list.--Galbijim 09:14, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
헤~ I'll never be able to take pictures like that with my camera phone. -_- Could you also edit it to add a note that it was taken by you? Just add on 'taken by me' or whatever. I know it's your picture but for when others come along it's good to make a note of where a picture came from. mithridates aka 데이빛 23:38, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
