Hello, Timchi and welcome to the Galbijim wiki. If you are new to the concept of a wiki, please see the Tutorial for general information, or you may ask questions directly on the talk pages of other users or administrators. Though the wiki itself is only for pertinent and accurate information on Korea, you may do whatever you wish with your own user page (within the bounds of decency), including links to pages of your own, your own photo, introduction, and whatever else.
When leaving a message on a person's talk page you may sign your message simply by writing four tildes like this: ~~~~. This will leave your name and time the message was written so the user will know who wrote the message.
If you're not sure where to start, you may want to take a look at the list of wanted pages to see if there's a subject you'd like to start writing about. Another way to browse the wiki is to look at a random page, pages that have been viewed the most, or short pages that really need to be expanded.

We hope you enjoy your time here and we look forward to working together with you.

[edit] Vocabulary entry process
Tim Smell, this is the order that you should do this. First type in the Korean word in the search and select go. If there is no existing page for it, then click thru on 'this exact title' and make a new page for it. Then follow the template for 고등학교 by writing the korean and then bracketed romanization, followed by the english meaning and description or tidbit(if needed). Then, you must assign a category for it at the bottom of your page. As you can see in the case of http://wiki.galbijim.com/%EA%B3%A0%EB%93%B1%ED%95%99%EA%B5%90?action=edit, you need to make a category box with Ko and then the first Korean consonant, as in 고. So the category would look like Ko 고 and encased in double brackets.
Exactly like this: [[Category:Ko 고]] mithridates aka 데이빛 14:22, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
Also, Tim Smell, I just had a thought. Can you also add a 2nd category for [[Category:Korean vocabulary]]?--Galbijim 14:35, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
Ah, don't do that. It goes [[Category:Ko 고]], then [[Category:Ko ㄱ]], then [[Category:Korean words]]. Each one is a subcategory of the other to make words easy to find. mithridates aka 데이빛 15:27, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
