Hi - sorry, I forgot all about the question you wrote on my talk page. I've been doing a lot of writing on our new blog and haven't been as attentive to the wiki as maybe I should be. Have you bought your camera yet? I would buy the camera here. I don't know anything about cameras myself but today I bought an MP3 player with colour screen and video and a whole bunch of other stuff for only 80000 won and it has some 15 language selections on the menu too, pretty much a perfect device. No worries. I've been in Seoul for four days, and bought my camera yesterday at that Yongsan electronic market. 7.1 megapixels, 3x zoom, and a 1 gig memory chip, all for 170,000 won. I probably could have gotten it for less, but compared to the prices in Seattle, it was pretty decent. I'm just regretting bringing my new Dell Vista computer with me -- Vista is awful, but at least I brought my XP CDs with me. What a disaster Vista has been.

Anyway, yo, seriously -- we should hang out some time. I am from New York, know a lot about history and the world and all, and have a master's degree in political science from UBC (yay Canada, mostly). I'm really into languages -- I speak fluent German and some Dutch and am going to try to learn Korean while I am here -- and I think we could probably become pretty decent friends (I checked out your other wiki-profiles).
