Wonpyeong Beach (원평해수욕장) is located on Bigeum-do island in Shinan county, Jeollanam-do. It is 4.3 kilometers long and 60 meters wide, and is known for the roses and blossoms that bloom each spring. It was one of the filming locations for the popular drama Spring Waltz. A reported 6,000 beachgoers visit each year [1].
