Yeoksam Station (역삼역, 驛三驛, station.three.station) is a station on line 2 of the Seoul subway. It is next to Seollung Station and Gangnam Station. It is closer to Gangnam Station than Seollung, and does not even require the crossing under of a major road to reach. There are a few Starbucks locations around the station, as well as a Mad For Garlic and some other restaurants. Though close to Gangnam Station, Yeoksam Station is much quieter and is a better place to meet up for those who wish to avoid crowds. Nearly all coffee shops around Gangnam Station for example will not have a single seat during busy times such as mid-afternoon and on the weekends, but Yeoksam Station usually does not have this problem. Star Tower is also located here.
