Yeongyang (영양군, 英陽郡, flower.sun.county) is a county in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The population as of 2004 was 20,275, including:
- 20,205 Koreans and
- 70 non-Koreans.
This is the lowest population of all the counties and cities in the province. Yeongyang is also quite isolated due to the lake on the west side.

To the north are the counties of [[Bonghwa] and Uljin, to the east are the counties of Yeongdeok and Uljin, to the west is the county of Bonghwa and the city of Andong, and to the south is the county of Cheongsong.
There are a large number of rocky areas in the county, and the county has some of the highest areas in the province. Mountains include Ilwolsan (일월산, 日月山:1,219m), Tonggosan (통고산, 通高山:1,066m), and Baegamsan (백암산. 白岩山:1,004m).
Due to the high elevation of the county it receives frost starting from October. The average yearly precipitation is 940.7 mm.
