Yeongyang-bap 영양밥 "Rich rice"
Rice which has been cooked with added ingredients, such as chestnuts, sweet potatoes, gingko nuts, beans, jujubes (대추), etc. This is usually cooked in a dolsot pot. In that case, before eating the rice is removed to another bowl and mixed with one's choice of panchan. Water is often added to the remaining nurungji (rice sticking on the sides and bottom) and this is eaten as a bland soup later.
Served in a restaurant in Gyeongju, in a segment of bamboo. This version contains seaweed.
