Yeoseo-do

Yeoseo Island (여서도, , beautiful.detailed.island) is an island in Jeollanam-do in the southwest part of Korea, about a third of the way from the mainland to Jeju-do. It is technically part of the county of Wando. It has an area of 2.51 km2,10 km of coastline, and a population of about 100. It has a 352m mountain in the centre of the island and four small bays around its circular area. The average temperature in January is 2℃, and 26℃ is August, with 1,327 mm of rainfall per year. The population in 2001 was about 100.

The main town on the island is called Yeoseo-ri (여서리).

There is one elementary school on the island: Yeoseo Elementary School (여서초등학교).
